Job Description

A qualified and warranted Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) is required by Isle of Wight Council to work flexibly across office hours and out-of-hours within a community mental health team and AMHP team. The role is predominantly focused on AMHP work for Adult Social Care, with minimal input into social care casework.

Based at County Hall, Newport, Isle of Wight (PO30 1UD), this role requires travel via ferry. The rate is £40.00–£53.43 per hour, with a start date of 19 June 2026.
