Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

We are looking for Children’s Social work Team managers to manage busy area teams. Applicants must have experneice of team managing and be compietent in managing from referral through to permamance.

Candidates must be able to evidence competence in managing

• Referrals, through Assessment & Child in Needs, strategy discussion, S47 to Child Protection, Pre-Proceedings through court proceedings into permanace and adoption.

• Practicing in line with the councils restoritive and family led approach.

• manage and influence team culture

• support with performance, case decision making and outcome focussed supervision.

• Manage staff welfare, performance and HR. 

Apllicants will be office based and available between office hours 8.30 – 5 with some flexibility to support to see through cases / safety planning.
