Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

As Family Time Officer you and your colleagues will be responsible for the supervision of Family Time to children, young people and their families in Redcar and Cleveland who require social care intervention.

To achieve positive change you will work under the direction of the Family Time Lead Officer and be responsible for the delivery of Family Time on a one to one basis or in groups. Central to this is the collaboration and partner working with children, young people and their families or carers, other services within the Local Authority, commissioned services, voluntary agencies and external stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for completing one to one parenting assessments and will provide support, advice and guidance to parents on improving their parenting skills.
