Job Description
This is a permanent position however we are hoping for someone who can start very quickly – if so then you will start on a temp to perm, working 12 weeks via the agency.
This position is full time and permanent and based in Stockport.
A DBS on the update service would be a massive advantage.
The salary when perm will be negotiable, starting from £13-£14 an hour + sleeps depending on experience
If you start via a temp to perm, for the first 12 weeks you will get £15 an hour until you go onto salary after 12 weeks.
Preferred Criteria
NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People Or Health and Social Care
Must have experience supporting young people in a residential setting

We are currently looking for a permanent Care Leaver Support worker to join an established company in Stockport.
Great flexibility with shifts and the rota’s. All shifts are usually 24 hour sleep shifts
This is supporting Care Leavers aged between 15-18, you will be helping to increase their independence skills.
It is essential that you have experience of working within a similar setting and preferably have completed NVQ3 Children & Young People Workforce or a similar qualification within this sector.
Qualifications/ Requirements
High standard of general education.
NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care – Children and young People (CCYP) or equivalent.
Willingness to undertake further training.
Current full driving licence with business Insurance preferable
Job Purpose
To be responsible for the provision of Support for Vulnerable People (Service Users) for the Company.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. To assist the Young person’s allocated Social Worker in the delivery of the service.
a) Provide transport/escort to the young person as directed in line with care plans
b) Conduct welcome and induction for Young people
c) Ongoing assessments of Service Users’ needs
d) Provide ongoing support and monitoring of Service Users
e) Assist in welfare and NHS issues
f) Preparation of reports
g) Arrange appointments with various partner agencies
h) Maintaining regular contact with young people
i) Informing customers of support groups
j) Assist Move-On of Service Users
Some Shifts may also be 24 hours (sleepovers), great flexibility and 2-3 days a week would be full time hours. Excellent company with a great unit.
