Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

BWD Children’s Services who have recently been rated GOOD in its full ILACS Ofsted Inspection seek a Supervising Social Worker to cover in its Fostering Service.  The role would encompass work across both kinship and mainstream fostering teams and would entail assesment and supervision of foster carers and kinship carers.  The applicant will need to have sound knowledge of fostering regulations and national minimum standards, kinship and special guardianship. Previous experience in fostering or adoption would be advantageous.  BWD offers a hybrid working policy, the expectation is that the applicant is on site 3 days out of 5.
