Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

We are a specialist Safeguarding Adult’s Service, therefore work involves completing and coordinating Care Act Section 42 Enquires. Experience of this is essential

As this is a part time role (18.5 hours) it is better for the service if the person completes 2 days one week and 3 days the next – as this makes it easier to manage workload and responsibilities. The vacancy is for Thursday Friday and alternative Wednesdays. To ensure adequate cover between both part time posts.

Location – Lancashire – county wide service. Working out of either East or West hub. With expectation there may be some County Wide cover where needed.

Start date is approx 7/7

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work

  • Social Work England registration.

  • Post qualified experience.

  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.

  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
