Senior Social Worker – Duty & Assessment (Team 2, Bradford South)

What you’ll do
-
Triage & assess new referrals (CIN, CP & S47) to decide next steps within statutory timescales.

Short-term intervention work—hold cases for up to 45 days before step-down or transfer.

Safeguarding & risk management using Signs of Safety and restorative practice.

Court work: Prepare statements & give evidence when required.

Multi-agency collaboration with police, health, education and Early Help partners.
What you’ll bring
-
Social Work England registration & enhanced DBS.
-
Recent frontline experience in Duty, Assessment, MASH or similar safeguarding team.

Confident report-writing, Section 47 and court skills.
-
Ability to juggle fast-moving priorities while keeping children’s voices central.
