Job Description

Trafford Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join the Community Social Work Team South, based at Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre. This is an initial 6-month agency assignment within a positive, innovation-focused permission culture. You will work with adults with a range of care and support needs, undertaking strength-based, person-centred assessments and interventions in line with the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Responsibilities include managing a caseload, responding to safeguarding enquiries, and building effective relationships across a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve the best outcomes for residents. Candidates should have completed their ASYE and have experience within a statutory Adult Social Care service, alongside strong communication and organisational skills.
