Job Description
Denbighshire County Council is seeking a Working Denbighshire Employment Coordinator to join its Housing and Communities service, based at East Parade, Rhyl. This role focuses on building strong relationships with local employers and businesses to create work experience placements, work trials, apprenticeships and employment opportunities for Working Denbighshire participants, helping to tackle poverty and support people into sustainable work across Denbighshire. You will act as the key point of contact for employers, negotiate placement and training commitments, complete health & safety agreements and risk assessments, and maintain accurate records in line with funding and data protection requirements. The role involves flexible, sometimes lone working across the county, with occasional evenings or weekends. Candidates should be educated to HNC level or equivalent in Business Studies, or have relevant experience in HR, Recruitment, CSR or Engagement work, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
