Job Description

Lincolnshire County Council are seeking an experienced Childrens Advanced Practitioner to join the East Lindsey FAST Team, based in Louth, LN11 8FG. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 5 days on-site during duty weeks (every third week), with flexibility during non-duty weeks.

You will deliver high-quality statutory social work across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care, leading safeguarding processes and contributing to multi-agency planning. Key responsibilities include completing Section 47 enquiries, undertaking comprehensive Child and Family Assessments, managing risk using evidence-based approaches such as Signs of Safety, producing clear analytical reports (including court reports), and ensuring timely, accurate case recording.

The role demands skilled relationship-based practice, confident decision-making, and effective collaboration across agencies, with a clear commitment to improving outcomes and safety for children and families. Whilst the Louth office can serve as a base for convenience, allocated work will cover the East Lindsey area.

Rate: £29.51–£40.00 per hour. Start date: 14 September 2026. Sourced via Prism.
