Job Description

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking an experienced Childrens Social Worker for a locum agency placement based in Spalding (PE11). The role is available from 7 September 2026 and is offered at £22.20–£29.98 per hour via the Prism portal.

You will manage a complex and varied caseload, undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews, and work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and improve outcomes. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate case records, providing intervention and guidance to service users, and participating in team meetings and reflective supervision.

Applicants must hold a recognised social work qualification (BA, MA, or DipSW equivalent), be registered with Social Work England, and have a minimum of two years’ post-qualified experience.
