Job Description

Blackburn with Darwen Council is seeking a qualified Adults Social Worker with Safeguarding and MASH experience for a locum placement based in Blackburn.

The role is offered at £30 per hour, starting 28 September 2026 through to 31 August 2027. The working address is 10 Duke Street, Blackburn, BB2 1DH.

Candidates must be able to provide 3 years of references, with gaps in employment history checked and relevant qualifications verified as per the job description and person specification.
