Job Description

Semester Recruitment is seeking an experienced Childrens Senior Social Worker or Advanced Practitioner for a locum role with Barnet Council’s Kinship Care Team, based in Colindale, London (NW9 4EW).

Paying £27.66–£38.00 per hour via Prism, this role requires a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience in a permanent social work post. Candidates must have direct experience of working with children and families, and must be able to demonstrate competence across all types of Kinship assessments — specifically Viability Assessments, Special Guardianship Order (SGO) assessments, and Connected Carer assessments.

Please note: experience in generic fostering teams alone will not be considered. Applicants must have specific Kinship assessment experience.
