Job Description

A Social Work Assistant is required for Birmingham Children’s Trust, based in Aston, Birmingham (B6 4DU), paying £13.70 – £17.65 per hour. Starting 31 August 2026, this is an ongoing interim role working within a children’s social work team.

You will work closely with qualified social workers to support children and families across a range of activities including life story work, supervision of contact, direct work with children, and family support work. A full job description will be provided prior to interview.

A driving licence and access to a car are mandatory requirements for this role.
