Job Description

You will supervise caseloads, support decision-making and risk management, and promote consistency of practice across the service, using a systemic approach and knowledge of Signs of Safety.
Key responsibilities include: providing regular supervision and practice guidance to Family Support Workers; monitoring caseloads and ensuring appropriate interventions are in place; leading meetings and developing effective plans for children and families at CIN and Child Protection thresholds; supporting effective transitions; and ensuring data demonstrates timely, outcomes-focused intervention.
You will report to a dedicated Team Manager and maintain close liaison with Family Help Team Managers.
Candidates must be Social Work England registered with a minimum of five years post-qualified experience, and must have supervisory experience with qualified social workers, student social workers, or equivalent qualified staff. Experience supporting effective Early Help or CIN plans is essential. Familiarity with the Families First approach and Early Help frameworks is desirable.
