Job Description

Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking experienced locum Senior Social Workers to join busy locality Duty and Assessment teams across the Bradford District, based at Keighley Town Hall, BD21 3PA. The rate is £35.00 per hour, with posts available from 22 June 2026.

The Trust’s vision is for all children and young people in Bradford to be safe and able to realise their full potential. You will work within a restorative and relational-based practice model, supporting children and families at pace, with an understanding that permanence begins at the point of referral.

Posts are available across multiple locality teams including East, South, Keighley & Shipley, and West Duty and Assessment teams. Candidates must have demonstrable experience of Public Proceedings, Pre-Proceedings, Child Protection, and Child in Need work.

Bradford Children and Families Trust operates hybrid working, though attendance at the office is required for specific tasks and team days as directed by service need.
