*Adults Social Worker – LD & Early Adulthood Team – #000B3EAA1

Job Description

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join the LD & Early Adulthood Team on a temporary basis, based in Stockport (SK1 3XE) with hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in office).

This role focuses on reviewing complex care packages and managing joint funding across the areas of Early Adulthood, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism, and Continuing Healthcare (CHC). Candidates must have demonstrable experience in these specialisms.

The position runs from 24 August to 30 October 2026 at a rate of £30 per hour. Three years of references are required, and any gaps in employment history will be checked. Relevant qualifications will be verified as per the job description and person specification.
