Thurrock Council is seeking an experienced Childrens Team Manager to lead its Family Help Team in Grays, Essex. This is a pivotal leadership role within Children’s Services, offering the opportunity to drive safe, high-quality practice for children and families across the borough.

You will represent the service in multi-agency forums, chair meetings, and contribute to the wider strategic direction of Children’s Services in line with Thurrock’s values.
Candidates must be qualified and registered social workers with significant post-qualification experience in children’s services, strong knowledge of Early Help, safeguarding, and child protection legislation, and proven leadership and staff management skills.
