Job Description

A Support Worker opportunity is available within the Reablement service at Farmborough Court, Sunderland (SR5 4EU), paying £16.96 per hour. The role supports adults recovering from illness or trauma to regain independence through meaningful activity. Customers are referred from hospital or home and may present with physical and cognitive impairments across a range of health conditions. The service is fast-paced and time-limited (up to six weeks per customer), and the team works closely with a multi-disciplinary team including Social Workers, Therapists, Community Nurses, and the Community Stroke Team. Both weekday and weekend cover is required, with shifts available AM (07:00–15:30) and PM (13:30–22:00). Start date: 21 July 2026.
