Job Description

A Leeds City Council children’s area social work team based at Technorth, Chapel Allerton, is seeking experienced Childrens Senior Social Workers on a full-time interim basis (Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00).

This role sits within an area children and families team covering the west of Leeds. You will undertake duty work, receive and process new referrals, and complete assessments, while also holding a mixed caseload spanning Child in Need, Child Protection, and children in care within proceedings.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with demonstrable post-qualifying experience across assessment and statutory children’s social work, including court proceedings where relevant.
