Job Description

An experienced Childrens Advanced Practitioner is required for Lincolnshire County Council’s East Lindsey FAST Team, based at Foundry Street, LN9 6AQ. This is a hybrid role with full on-site attendance required during duty weeks (every third week), and flexible hybrid working in non-duty weeks.

You will deliver high-quality statutory social work across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care. Key responsibilities include completing Section 47 enquiries, undertaking comprehensive Child and Family Assessments, and managing risk using evidence-based approaches such as Signs of Safety. You will lead safeguarding processes, contribute to multi-agency planning, produce clear analytical reports (including for court), and maintain timely, accurate recording.

The role demands skilled relationship-based practice, confident decision-making, and effective multi-agency collaboration, with a clear commitment to improving outcomes and safety for children and families.

The position is available from 7 August 2026 at a rate of £29.51–£40.00 per hour via Prism. Social Work England registration is essential.
