Job Description
Rochdale Borough Council (GM Collaboration) is seeking experienced Youth Justice Case Managers to support delivery within its Youth Justice Service, based in Rochdale, OL16 1XL. This is a full-time, hybrid agency placement running from 27 July 2026 to 09 October 2026 at £21.14 per hour.
You will work directly with children, young people, and their families across the full Youth Justice pathway, including prevention and early intervention, diversion from the criminal justice system, court orders and statutory supervision, and custody and resettlement planning.
Key responsibilities include completing AssetPlus and prevention/diversion assessments, developing and delivering tailored intervention plans, managing complex caseloads in line with legislation and Youth Justice standards, preparing court reports and multi-agency forum submissions, and contributing to safeguarding and risk management processes.
Essential requirements: proven experience in a Youth Justice Service or similar setting; strong knowledge of child development, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding; experience across prevention, diversion, and statutory court/custody interventions; ability to complete AssetPlus or equivalent assessments; excellent report writing; Enhanced DBS clearance.
