Job Description

Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an experienced Childrens Team Manager to lead their fast-paced front door service (MASH) in Ashton Under Lyne. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week based in the office at Market Place, OL6 6DL.

You will bring at least 3 years’ team manager experience in a front door or child protection service, and demonstrate a motivated, creative and passionate approach to achieving positive outcomes for children and families.

This is a fixed-term locum post running from 27 July to 30 October 2026, paying between £26.51 and £46 per hour depending on experience and engagement method.
