*Childrens Social Worker – East Lindsey FAST Team – #OR106224

Job Description

An experienced Childrens Social Worker is required for Lincolnshire County Council’s East Lindsey FAST Team, based at Holmeleigh, Foundry Street, Horncastle (LN9 6AQ). This is a hybrid role paying £22.20–£29.98 per hour, starting 6 July 2026.

You will deliver high-quality statutory social work across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care, carrying a varied caseload that demands confident, evidence-based decision-making. Key responsibilities include conducting Section 47 enquiries, completing comprehensive Child and Family Assessments, leading safeguarding processes, and contributing to multi-agency planning. You will produce clear analytical reports — including court reports — and maintain timely, accurate case recording throughout.

The team uses a Signs of Safety framework. Relationship-based practice and effective collaboration with partner agencies are central to this role. During your duty week (every fourth week) full on-site attendance at Horncastle is required for all five days; outside duty weeks there is flexibility for hybrid working.
