Job Description

An exciting opportunity for an experienced senior social worker to take a leading role in a regional fostering improvement initiative, based in Chichester (PO19 1TH) with hybrid working.

This consultancy position sits with Home + Future Limited and focuses on standardising fostering practice across the region. You will lead on developing regional practice guidance for fostering services, design and create standardised training programmes covering fostering recruitment, assessment and approval, and facilitate in-person training and workshops at locations across the region.

The successful candidate must have worked at Principal Social Worker level or above and bring demonstrable experience in fostering. You will be a self-starter who can work at pace, drive forward the implementation of a regional fostering model, and produce high-quality, consistent guidance that improves practice standards.

This is a hybrid role: primarily home-based with regular in-person attendance to deliver and facilitate training and workshops.

Rate: £47.00–£61.76 per hour. Start date: 3 July 2026.
