Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a qualified social work professional to step into an Assistant Team Manager role within the Fostering Service Support Hub at Wrexham County Borough Council.

In this role you will join a supportive and friendly management team working closely together to ensure the effective day-to-day functioning of the Fostering Service. The service supports and assesses foster carers, Supported Lodgings, Special Guardianship Orders, connected persons, and Reg 26s. You will supervise a dedicated team of Social Workers, providing advice, guidance, and management oversight as required, and will participate in a management duty rota one day per week.

The position is based at 31 Chester Street, Wrexham, LL13 8BG, and is offered via the Prism portal at a rate of £31.06–£41.58 per hour, commencing 23 June 2026.
