Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Childrens Advanced Practitioner with the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team at Bury Council, part of the GM Collaboration. Based at Knowsley Street, Bury (BL9 0SW), this is a temporary role paying £40 per hour, running from 22 June 2026 to 1 November 2026.

Candidates must have recent experience of working within a Children with Disabilities team and a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualifying social work experience within a Local Authority Children’s Social Care setting. A 5-year reference history is required, with gaps in employment history checked and relevant qualifications verified as per the job description and person specification.
