Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a multidisciplinary team based at Sir Henry Mitchell House in Bradford (BD5 0QL), working within Bradford Community Foundation Trust (BCFT).

In this role you will provide high-quality, strengths-based social work support to adults, working collaboratively with health and social care colleagues to promote independence and wellbeing. You will carry a complex caseload, undertake assessments, and contribute to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults in the community.

Key responsibilities are likely to include: conducting thorough social care assessments and care planning; working within a multidisciplinary health and social care setting; supervising and supporting junior colleagues; attending and contributing to multi-agency meetings; maintaining accurate records in line with GDPR and local authority standards; and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.

Candidates must hold a recognised social work qualification (BA/MA Social Work or DipSW), be registered with Social Work England, and demonstrate solid post-qualifying experience in adult services. Experience within a community foundation trust, mental health, or integrated health and social care setting would be advantageous.

This is a locum position offering £35.00 per hour, with an anticipated start date of 18 May 2026. The role is based on-site in Bradford.
