Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEND Key Worker to join a specialist team based at Delamere House, Crewe (CW1 2JZ). This role offers an immediate start from 11 May 2026 on an ongoing basis, paying £25.18 per hour.

As a SEND Key Worker, you will provide dedicated support to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, acting as a central point of contact for families navigating the SEND system. You will work collaboratively with education, health, and social care professionals to ensure coordinated, person-centred plans are in place and that the needs of children and young people are met effectively.

Key responsibilities will include maintaining regular contact with families, supporting the development and review of Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans, liaising across multi-agency teams, and advocating on behalf of children and young people with SEND. An Enhanced DBS check including both children’s and adults’ barred lists is required for this role.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Previous experience working with children and young people with complex needs within an education, health, or social care setting is essential.
