Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities (CWD) team in Bury. This is a meaningful role where you will make a genuine difference to the lives of disabled children and their families, providing high-quality support, assessment, and intervention.

Working within a dedicated CWD service, you will carry a varied caseload involving children and young people with a range of disabilities, undertaking assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with statutory requirements. You will work collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable children.

Candidates must be able to provide a minimum of five years’ references, and any gaps in employment history will be required to be accounted for. Relevant qualifications as per the job description and person specification are essential. All applicants must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
