Job Description

The Safe and Supported Service works with children and families where there is longer term involvement under Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans, and within public and private Court proceedings. These teams support children until final plans of permanence are agreed. For children/young people with a plan of permanence outside the family via long-term fostering or long-term residential care, the team supports a transfer to the Cared for Teams. The Safe and Supported Team also works with children with a plan of adoption until Adoption Orders are granted.
