Job Description

About the Role:

  • 18.5 hours per week, based at Wombwell Police Station, Barnsley.

  • Lead and support a small team within the Assessment & Duty Team.

  • Must have Duty & Assessment experience

  • Hybrid working available.

  • Drive best practice and embed our Stronger Together model, underpinned by Signs of Safety.

  • Deliver statutory assessments and interventions with strong multi-agency collaboration.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Social Worker with significant statutory experience.

  • Skilled in reflective supervision and team development.

  • Strong knowledge of legislation and ability to drive positive outcomes for vulnerable children.

  • The successful candidate must speak English to an appropriate standard.
