Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to dignity, respect, and safeguarding

Flexibility to work across a rota including nights and weekends.

Qualifications Required

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

Care Certificate (if new to care)

First Aid and Manual Handling certificates

Any specialist training (e.g. dementia care, safeguarding)

Two references Clear enhanced DBS for adults and children

Level 2 or 3 Diploma in health and social care.

Medication Training
