Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

we now have vacancies for senior practitioners in our safeguarding service. This is a really exciting time to join us as we continue to build and grow the service to deliver the best service possible to our children and families. This is an ideal opportunity for people to step-up into a more senior position to develop their practice and leadership skills. 

We have attached the job description and person specification but to give you a flavour of the role, we would expect you to;

 

  • To offer support during visits and meetings to our children and families to support with planning.

  • To hold a reduced caseload of more complex children. 

  • Lead and support your team alongside your manager to drive the improvement plan within your team.

  • Support your colleagues by offering reflective supervision and group supervision to highlight good practice and learning opportunities.

  • To support and contribute to improving our data set. 

  • To offer support to your team when your team manager is unavailable and to offer specified support where this has been identified.
