3-month role for a suitably experienced and qualified youth justice social worker/probation officer To hold a caseload of young people, open to the service through our Prevention and Diversion pathways. Completing assessments utilising the YJB Prevention and Diversion Assessment tool. Identifying unmet needs and developing child led plans to support young people to move away from offending and reduce risk of exploitation. To provide occasional court duty officer cover for the service. To cover office duties as required Utilising both a Child First approach and Trauma Informed approach, we are seeking experienced youth justice practitioners who can hit the ground running in this exiting role. St Helens YJS is a multi-agency team who were assessed as ‘Good’ in our last HMPI Inspection. Opportunity for hybrid working.
