🔍 What you’ll be doing

• 📝 Lead Mental Health Act 1983 assessments, ensuring least-restrictive, rights-based decisions

• 🚑 Co-ordinate conveyance & admissions, arranging Section 117 after-care with police, NWAS, wards and community teams

• 🛡️ Provide the social-perspective voice at crisis meetings, safeguarding enquiries and MAPPA/MARAC panels

• 🌱 Mentor trainee AMHPs and contribute to audit work, boosting practice quality during your tenure

✅ What you’ll bring

• Current AMHP approval & registration with Social Work England (or NMC/HCPC)

• 2+ years’ statutory mental-health experience with recent AMHP practice

• Confidence balancing risk, rights & ethics under pressure

• Enhanced DBS (we’ll update if needed) and ability to travel locally

Bonus skills: BIA/LPS qualification, Practice Educator Stage 2, or previous hub/EDT experience
