Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

This position is within the Assessment and Safeguarding Service at Darlington Borough Council. The teams are locality based and support children and families from the point of referral and assessment through to either step down or permanence. Children are supported through Child In Need, Child Protection and Looked After Child Plans. Public and Private Law proceedings are also held within the service.

The successful candidate would be supported by a Team Manager, have access to regular reflective supervision and be able to access the Local Authority training programmes.

The teams work through a relational and restorative practice model.

We are based in the Town Hall at Darlington but offer hybrid working. All remote working equipment is provided (Laptop, Work Mobile Phone and Personal Safety Device).

Flexibility around working hours will be required based on own allocated case load.

TOIL will be given work hours worked over 37p/w.
