Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

We are currently recruiting an experienced children’s social worker (3years+ pq experience) to join us in our Fostering Kinship Assessment Service. You will be experienced in completing Form C Assessments. You will have the creativity, motivation and passion to deliver excellent services and improve outcomes to ensure a positive difference and brighter future for our children and young people. You will have strong career background within children and families and have sound knowledge within Fostering specifically within Kinship, as well as having comprehensive understanding of all fostering regulations and legislation statutory guidance and processes. You will manage a diverse, complex and varied caseload always being child centered in your approach. You will bring your knowledge and expertise to the role to work in order to make effective decisions in recruiting and assessing our foster carers in ensuring we offer the best stable placements for our children and young people.

Placement until Oct 2025, must be able to commit to full length of placement.

£35ph ltd status

Must live within 1hr commutable distance to Liverpool.

Must be a car driver and commit to at least 3 days on site in Liverpool per week
