Young People’s Service Durham are looking for a qualified social worker to cover a vacancy. We are a statutory service covering all of County Durham and we also work into neighbouring authorities and also nationwide dependent on where our care leavers live. We have three teams within the Young People’s Service; Team 1 – Covering the South Team 2 – Covering the North Team 3 – Covering the East Within the team we work with the following children and young people: Care Leavers up to the age of 25 Looked after children age 15-18 Children in need 16-18
(Contract till the end of April with potential to be extended or made perm)
You must have:
- A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with Children's, in particular previous experience of Assessment work
- Social Work England registration.
- Post qualified experience.
- Enhanced DBS/Update service.
- References required for the last 5 years of employment.
