Job Description
We are looking for an Social Worker to join our Child in Need/Child Protection Service based at Macclesfield Town Hall. The Social Worker will join a team of 5 Social Workers and one Family Support Worker which is managed by a Team Manager. The service comprises of 5 Social Work Teams. The service covers work from initial referral through assessment, child in need, child protection, pre-proceedings and the issuing of care proceedings. The expectation is for workers to be office based a minimum of 3 days per week. Given the team takes on from initial referral, each team is on duty around one day a week. This day will change on a rota bases and the expectation is that all staff in the team are on duty on their respective day. Please confirm which DBS is required for this role.
