About this role: This role is for the Learning Disability & Autism Team, within Adult Social Care. On a day to day basis, you will support the LD & Autism Team. This role will provide additional resilience as the team responds, and recruits to respond, to the tragic incident in Southport by supporting people with Autism affected by the incident. Adult Social Care currently use a hybrid working model, the average week may be a mixture of office-based work and working from home.
Social Worker Level 3 General Description:
Experienced practitioner with considerable experience in the field expected to undertake complex cases including assessment and management of risks. Recognised by peers as a source of reliable knowledge and expertise demonstrating critical knowledge of the range of theories and models for social work intervention. Expected to oversee the teaching and assessment of social work students carrying out practice learning placements as required. Required to give evidence in court in relation to care proceedings.

You must have:
- A professional qualification in social work
- Social Work England registration.
- Post qualified experience.
- Enhanced DBS/Update service.
- References required for the last 5 years of employment.
