The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

This position is for a Supervising Social Worker on a mainstream LA Fostering Team. The role will include the support and supervision of a group of Mockingbird Hub Carers and some mainstream carers too.

Experience as a Supervising Social Worker in a Fostering Team is essential.

Thorough knowledge and experience of the Mockingbird Family Model is essential

There are no set days in the office – people do a mixture of coming in and working from home but all home visits are face to face and we would expect the worker to be available in person for team meetings (which always fall on a Wednesday) and face to face supervision.

Our panel days are Thursday so if there were reviews to go to panel they would need to be available to attend in person then too.
