Blackpool Council are looking to recruit a full time temporary SEN officer to work within the SEN Assessment and Review Team

Amongst other duties the post will involve;

Working with parents, children / young people and partners to co produce, review and amend educational, health and care plans

Representing the local authority at Annual Reviews and supporting setting appropriately challenging outcomes for children and young people

Supporting and managing transition of children and young people between local authorities and schools

Engaging in individual casework

Contributing to panel and funding meetings

Representing the SEND team and local meetings as required

Producing data in relation to children and young people and casework

The position will be hybrid but for the right candidate the manager will consider fully remote.

You must have:

  • Post qualified experience.
  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.
  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
