– Degree in Social Work
– SWE Registration
– Right to work within the UK
– Full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle
Qualified Social Worker to join Duty and Assessment Team 1
Based at Municipal Offices, Blackpool.
Working hour 5 days per week, some hybrid working at the discretion of the Team Manager
You will work one duty week out of 4.
You will be delivering social work support to families across Blackpool to undertake assessments, and develop plans to ensure children can live at home safely.
You will complete CAFA, Sec 47’s, CIN plan’s, attend ICPC and may on occasion prepare for court applications. There is also some private law such as Section 7 and Section 37 reports.
You will work closely with professionals from a range of agencies including health, education, police and youth offending services.
You will work with children and families that are facing some complex challenges, to determine the right offer for the children.
You must we an experienced child care social worker with at least 3 years post qualifying.
You must be able to drive and have your own vehicle available to undertake visits.
