Job Description

Manchester City Council have an exciting opportunity available as a MARAC social worker.

This role will be closely connected with Manchester City Council’s independent domestic violence advisory service and the Multi agency safeguarding hub. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the local authority response to domestic violence and abuse and safeguarding adults.

The post holder will be covering maternity leave, with the initial contract available for a period of 3 months; with the view of extending this contract for the duration of the maternity leave period – subject to review at the 3 month stage.

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with Children's
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Post qualified experience.
  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.
  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
