The teams work closely with all agencies involved with either the child or the parent in order to complete a holistic assessment and plan to reduce any risk posed to the children.
The work of the team ranges from assessments, voluntary support via child in need plans, statutory intervention via child protection plans and legal proceedings.
The teams work five days per week covering the core hours 9am to 5pm and there is an Emergency Duty team who assist out of these core hours.
