Job Description

Middlesbrough Borough Council is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker for an Advanced Practitioner role within the Safeguarding and Child Protection (SCP) Team, based at Middlesbrough House, TS1 2RH.

This vacancy has arisen following a resignation, with the post available from 2nd July 2026. The rate is £34.45 per hour.

The successful candidate will be an experienced qualified social worker with a background in children’s safeguarding and child protection. Social Work England registration is essential.
