Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

Hospital Discharge to Assess Team based at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Candidates should have HDTA experience and  be confident in care act and capacity assessments, best interest assessments & Safeguarding and be willing to work with NHS colleagues 

8 – 3:30pm in the office, Flexible working from home. 2-3 days per week, in the office, Rest WFH, based on Rota . Weekend working 1 in 6, Saturday based at MRI and Sunday at Gorton Hub

Parking available on streets nearby hospital or paid parking available.

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work

  • Social Work England registration.

  • Post qualified experience.

  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.

  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
