MSP are looking for a Assurance and Review Coordinator Grade 8 1.0 FTE
The Manchester Safeguarding Partnership (MSP) is looking to recruit a self-motivated creative person who has experience in the development and delivery of assurance and improvement processes for the partner agencies of the MSP.

An exciting opportunity for an Assurance and Review Officer (primary focus ADULTS) has arisen to join the Manchester Safeguarding Partnership’s Business Unit that supports Manchester’s integrated adult’s and children’s safeguarding assurance and improvement activity. This permanent role will be an opportunity for the right person to work closely with our multi-agency Safeguarding Partners, under the direction of the MSP Partnership Manager, you will co-ordinate the work of the ADULT Practice Review subgroup and contribute to the effective delivery of the Partnerships purpose and functions .
The successful candidate needs to be organised, proactive and demonstrate excellent communication and people skills as you will be interacting with several different agencies such as police, fire service, health and voluntary sector.

To fulfil the expectations above the post holder will be required to evidence
1. Experience of multi-agency safeguarding work in a frontline agency such as police, social care, health or youth justice
2. Experience of working in a highly focused environment, working closely with external agencies in order improve outcomes for vulnerable people that maybe at risk of significant safeguarding issues.
3. Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to urgent and important request from a range of professionals
4. Well organized with the ability to priortise without high levels of direct managerial support
5. Good communication skills, including written and verbal.

You must have:

  • Multi agency minute taking.
  • Previous experience within the same or similar role.

  • Relevant qualifications/certificates.
  • Enhanced DBS
