Job Description

1 x 37 Adult Social Care Social Worker required

We require an experienced qualified social worker on our adult community team working with people who are over the age of 18 years of age, which is focused around people with disabilities associated with illness or age/frailty and also more complex issues recording substance misuse, and domestic abuse,  who do not meet criteria for specialist learning disability, autism or mental health services. Blackpool is one of the most deprived towns in England and the needs of our population are reflective of this. 

We need experienced staff working together from our office, dealing with new incoming referrals, undertaking Care Act assessments and reviews and also some safeguarding work as we do not have a separate safeguarding team- All support/induction to do this work will be provided.
